This is a work in progress, so check back soon for more!

Q: What is the MCH PA Board and what do we do?
As a caregiver of a child enrolled at Montessori Children’s House, you are a member of the Parent Association (PA). The MCH PA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit group, comprised of parents and caregivers of MCH students, and led by a board of community volunteers. Our mission is to harness the strength of our diverse community to provide our children with an enhanced Montessori experience. The Board coordinates with the school to implement the following community funded initiatives:
  • Enrichment of the school’s curriculum through additional experiences and materials
  • Access to events and activities that foster a sense of community
  • Support of our teachers and staff through professional development sponsorship and appreciation programs
  • Advancement of equity through short-term financial assistance

The MCH PA Vision is to connect families in ways that encourage a sense of pride in and care for our MCH community, that students can carry with them throughout their lives as engaged members of society.

Q: What are some of the events the PA hosts and where can I find a calendar of events or stay aware?
You can subscribe to our live calendar here so that you can learn about out our upcoming events in real time. The PA hosts events such as game nights, walking/hiking meetups, book club, casual coffee gatherings and community learning for caregivers. Events take place approximately twice per month and are held either in-person or on Zoom. The PA also hosts fundraising events, including our annual SEED campaign and Staff Appreciation Week support.
