About Us
The Montessori Children's House Parent Association was founded in 1999. The Parent Association is made up of all parents/guardians of current MCH students. The board of directors is elected from the population of Parent Association members. Elections of board members happen in the spring each year. The Parent Association is a 501 (c)(3), which means that all contributions are tax deductible as defined by law. Unlike public school boards, our mission is not to set policy. We exist simply to support the mission of the school; largely done through funds raised via SEED campaign.
MCH PA Mission
The MCHPA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit group, comprised of parents and caregivers of MCH students, and led by a board of community volunteers. Our mission is to harness the strength of our diverse community to provide our children with an enhanced Montessori experience. The Board coordinates with the school to implement the following community funded initiatives:
Together we can bring these programs and services to life for our children, our teachers and our community. As a parent with a child enrolled at MCH, you are an important part of the PA and an automatic member. I encourage you to be an active participant of the PA: learn more about the PA, become a board member, participate in our fundraising efforts through the SEED Fundraising Program, attend PA sponsored community events, and give us your input. Don’t just have an opinion, make a difference and participate!
